Vista Mesa Assisted Living, located at 1206 North Mildred in Cortez, CO, has an opening for a Resident Services Director. Vista Mesa’s private ownership and management company has been the same for the last twenty-four years. The executive director is a nurse practitioner and has worked onsite for fifteen years. Vista Mesa (EOE) is looking for an individual who can work full time hours while occasionally working in a flexible manner with hours of the day and days of the week when necessary. The position is conducted in a home like environment while responding to changes in acuity, resident/family likes and dislikes.

Salary

$62,400 to $101,000 based on license, experience and level of education. PTO, sick leave and health benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited education program for nursing. RN license preferred.
• The ability to work on the floor with the staff in meeting resident needs based on individual resident care plans.
• Developing and updating individual care plans.
• The ability to evaluate changes of condition and make appropriate changes in the service plan while educating care staff to ensure continuity of the resident’s total care regime.
• Must be able to participate in and demonstrate leadership with resident care, medication passes and management, preventive programs, regulatory compliance, and process improvements.
• Must have excellent customer service and the ability to be a liaison between the residents, the care team, families, physicians and outside services.
• Must have the ability to lead and supervise others with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care setting, or other related field.
